We celebrate the greatest scientific awards night, the 31st Ig Nobel Prizes. What can a discarded piece of chewing gum tell you about your mouth or environment? A discarded piece of gum can be a mess but also a messy battleground for bacteria. Since bacteria love invading old gum, can that be harnessed for good?
